Our school was honoured with Global Sustainability Award 2024 by ARCedtech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. We have received this recognition in SDG Superhero and Community Outreach categories for our dedicated commitment to the global community and environment. We were placed among Top 28 out of over 850 schools from 19 countries. The felicitation ceremony will be held on 7^th December, 2024.
The school received a Certificate of Recognition at the Ernst & Young STEM (gamification) App City Level Showcase, for actively promoting the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals through the EY Stem App. Project ‘Fitback’ of Kaveesha Arora and Aadhya Bansal from Class XI was selected among the Top 5 from across Delhi in the Individual and Group categories. FitBack is a heating belt with a simulator that aims to relieve cramps during menstruation, curing back pain and enabling women to work with ease.
Our school received the Reading Torch Award by Primary Plus Foundation, for being a ‘Proficient Reading School’, highlighting our school’s commitment to promoting a culture of reading and nurturing a love for books among students. The felicitation ceremony was held on 4^th September, 2024, at India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, Delhi.
The school was awarded the ‘Best School Award 2024’ at the Global Education Mentor Summit and Awards, held on 6^th October, 2024, at ITC Dwarka, for its commitment to academic excellence, innovation and holistic student development. Ms. Kajal Sachdeva, Headmistress, Primary, also received the ‘Innovative Educator of the Year’ Award in the ceremony.

Our school was acclaimed the ‘Best School in North India for Infrastructure 2024’ by Centre for Education Growth and Research (CEGR), the leading and only education think tank in India, in the 23^rd Rashtriya Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar Ceremony held at Hotel Eros, Nehru Place, on 2^nd May, 2024.
Our school was honoured with the Future Healthcare Award 2024 by Re:Think India on 21^st June, 2024, in recognition of the exemplary health practices followed in school. The award ceremony, held on the occasion of Yoga Day, celebrated the school's commitment to promoting physical and mental well-being among students through regular yoga sessions and emphasizing the importance of integrating wellness practices in education.
We were awarded the Best Creative School of the Year - 2024 award on the basis of our outstanding contribution towards Academic Development and Creative Learning in India by Global Leaders Foundation on 22^nd June, 2024, in 5^th Bharat-Bhutan Friendship Summit – 2024 held at Thimphu, Bhutan.
Our school won the Overall Sports Championship for the year 2023-2024 in Zone XI for the 12^th consecutive time. The Annual Zonal Sports Prize Distribution function 2023-24 was held at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Kailash Enclave on 20^th July, 2024. We won 49 trophies which is more than the double of those won by the first runner up.

As a testament to the school’s commitment towards providing a nurturing sports environment to its players, the school has secured affiliation as a regular member with the Delhi Basketball Association (DBA). This will also provide our student athletes with valuable competitive experiences and exposure to a higher level of play.
Our school was bestowed Hexagon Award for excelling in various activities/events such as Blood Donation Camp, Collaborations with NGOs, Plantation Drives and many more, conducted by Rotary, in the Annual Thanksgiving Function of the Rotary Club 3012, held on 21^st June in the school auditorium.
The Rotarians Mr. Sachin Vats, District Interact Chair and President, Mr. Mohan Nagpal graced the event with their presence.

The Spell Bee Programme by Spell Bee International has been running exceptionally well at our school, with a large number of students participating enthusiastically every year. To acknowledge the school's relentless efforts towards encouraging the students for the programme, Spell Bee International felicitated the school with a trophy on 15^th July 2024. The school Principal was also bestowed a trophy.

NATIONAL CREDIT FRAMEWORK PILOT PROJECT (2024-25) Our school has been nominated for the National Credit Framework (NCrF) pilot project for 2024-25. It has been introduced as a unified credit system for CBSE schools in Classes VI, IX, and XI.
Students will need to earn 40 credits yearly by completing 1200 notional learning hours across various activities, including classroom teaching, sports, arts, and vocational training.
Mandatory assessments will ensure progression, and credits will be recorded in the Academic Bank of Credit linked to the student's APAAR ID and DigiLocker.

The Directorate of Education (DoE), Govt. of NCT of Delhi, honoured Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura with the GREEN AWARD 2023 on 11^th May, 2023.The award was categorized in three categories: Big, Medium and small schools, as per the enrolment for Government/ Govt. The Interact Club of the school received the Diamond Club Award from the Rotary as an appreciation for working all round the year on the theme ‘Kartavaya’, in a ceremony held at Sanskar School, Ghaziabad on 29^th June 2023. The school was awarded ‘Most Enthusiastic Language Learners Award’ for the year 2022-23 by Spell Bee International Olympiad. Ms. Gursimran Kaur, TGT English, the school coordinator for Spell Bee International Olympiad, was bestowed with the ‘Exemplary Leader in Academic Excellence Award’.

The girls’ team from the school was declared the Best All Girls Team in ‘Seed the Future Entrepreneur Event 3.0’, jointly conducted by Atal Innovation Mission and Dassault Systems on 24^th June 2023.

Keeping in view the importance of NCC and provide a higher level of training to our cadets, Mr. Neelambar Singh, H.O.D Physical Education, successfully completed the Assistant NCC Officer (ANO) Course from National Cadet Corps from Kamptee, Nagpur. In the duration of 3 months (January 2024 – March 2024), he attended sessions such as theory classes, March Past, fitness activities, rifle shooting and so on. He also secured First Position in the Volleyball Competition held at the camp.

Nishu Mangla, TGT-Mathematics, has been selected by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) to review the Mathematics Textbooks for Classes IV and V.

The podcast submitted by Ms. Garima Wadhwa, PRT, has been selected among the best 3 entries of 'Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye’, a campaign hosted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in collaboration with MyGov.

Sunita Saxena, Assistant Teacher, got a collection of her Hindi poems published in ‘त्रिपथगा काव्य संग्रह’ by Litho Colour Printers.

On the occasion of ‘Indian Language Day,’ the Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts, a part of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, along with the Hindustani Language Academy, applauded the outstanding performance of 91 Class X students (2022-23) in Hindi and Sanskrit, in the Board Examinations. These students received the prestigious Bhashadoot Sammaan on December 6, 2023.
Additionally, the following teachers of the Hindi/Sanskrit Department were felicitated with the Bhasha Gaurav Teacher Award:

Ms. Suchita Joon, PRT Computer Science, received the Global Teacher Award for her contribution to the field of education, from AKS Education Awards, on 4^th November, 2023 in a Ceremony held at New Delhi.
Ms. Shreya Gandhi, School Counsellor got the opportunity to present her research paper titled ‘Post Covid Era of an Adolescent in the Indian Context’ at the 8^th International Conference of Indian Academy of Health Psychology, held on 30^th November - 2^nd December in Calangute, Goa. The conference was attended by several proficient academicians and psychologists across India.
Ms. Namrata Alwadhi, PGT, Physics got featured in ‘Atal innovation Mission Exemplary Teachers of Change’, e-book for the year 2023-24.
Ms. Preet Kamal and Ms. Rita Kohli, were awarded the ‘Google Certified Educator’ Level 2 and Level 1 badge respectively. These certificates are given to teachers for successfully demonstrating knowledge, skills and basic competencies required for proficiency in using Google for Education tools.
Tanu Jain, PRT, Computer Science, was placed among the Top 10 percentile globally in the International Teacher's Olympiad. organized by Suraasa, held on 7^th October 2023.

Manjulata Pandey, TGT – English secured 13^th Rank in the 16^th edition of National Poetry Contest organized by S7 Poetry in November 2023. More than 1000 poets from across India participated in the online contest.
She also received a ‘Letter of Appreciation’ from MindWars for conducting a series of activities at school wherein young learners across Classes VI-IX exhibited an excellent performance.
Ms. Vishakha Sharma’s artwork was showcased in the 96^th Annual All India Art Exhibition that was hosted by All India Fine Arts and Craft Society, Delhi. The exhibition was held at AIFACS Gallery, Sansad Marg, from 12^th December, 2023 to 3^rd January, 2024.

Her artwork was also featured in the exhibition catalogue.

An article on the Indian Cricket Team titled ‘But Did We Really Lose?’, written by Ms. Gursimran Kaur, TGT- English, was published in the Times of India Student Edition on 28^th November 2023.

Mr. Anurag Smith, TGT, Western Music, was awarded a memento by the British Council on 2^nd March 2023 to recognize his efforts and contribution in preparing students for the Vocal and Instrumental Music exams of Trinity College, London.
An article titled 'Jeevan Kaushal Ekikaran Udharan’, written by Ms. Priti Bhasin, Assistant Teacher-Hindi, was published in the recent publication of CENBOSEC of CBSE.
Ms. Manjulata Pandey, TGT-English, contributed as a co-author in two anthologies: ‘Guiding Light’ and ‘Is it Time to Bloom or Wither?’. These anthologies are available on major platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and the Play Store. Adding to this remarkable achievement, she was awarded a certificate and medal for securing the 13^th position in the prestigious National Poetry Competition organized by S7 Poetry.
Two articles written by Ms. Mona Sharma, TGT- Computer, titled ‘Lead, Educate, Connect: A guide for parents…’ and ‘Parenting and Screen Time’, were published in the Times of India, Student Edition and HT Pace respectively, in February 2024.

Preeti Khanna, PGT Computer Science, was among the TOP 100 Educators selected by CED Award Council. She was selected on the basis of her expertise, experience and passion for her subject.
Garima Wadhwa, Assistant Teacher, secured second and third position in English and Hindi Poem Writing competition respectively, in the Kalantar 2022, the Annual National Art Festival organized by CBSE, in June, 2023. She was also invited to Vigyan Kavi Sammelan by Ministry of Culture, GOI and Indraprastha Vigyan Bharati, to recite her poem ‘Hail Science! Hail Scientists’ on 23rd July, 2023 at India Gate.

An article written by Ms. Surbhi Oberoi, TGT English on the topic 'Shifting the Focus: Prioritizing Progress and Potential Over Grades' was also published by ScooNews on their website in the month of April.

Our school is the centre for CBSE Basic Maths Class X Supplementary Exam Paper checking. Ms. Sonia Chhabra, Vice Principal, has been appointed by CBSE as the Chief Nodal Supervisor for the same.

The Principal has been appointed by CBSE as Chief Nodal Supervisor for Practical Examination and City Coordinator of 100 schools.

She is also the National Coordinator for NTA for JEE, UGC NET, NEET and other examinations.

An article written by Ms. Gursimran, TGT, English on ‘Importance of Addressing Student Mental Health’ was published in the student edition of Times of India dated 15^th March 2023.

To commemorate the 125^th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on 6th March, 2020-21, the National Gallery of Modern Art organized a unique Art workshop and exhibition on Netaji’s life and legacy in Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) from 1st to 6th March, 2021. The workshop was attended by over 100 artists who worked on a 400 Meter Canvas. Mr. Sajal Patra, TGT Art was invited as a senior special artist from Delhi.
Members of the staff were awarded a Certificate by the ‘Guinness World Records’ for helping India create a ‘Guinness World Records’ title for ‘Most Users to take an Online Artificial Intelligence Course in 24 Hours’ on 13^th & 14^th October, 2020, as a part of the AI for Youth Virtual Symposium.

As has been the tradition, the staff members who completed 25 years of service to the institution in the year 2020, were recognized and honoured for their sincerity and commitment. Students Achievements

Shashwat Chaudhary and Shaurya Chaudhary of Class IX won Gold in the finals of the Boys’ Doubles U-15 category at the All-India National Badminton Tournament. Shashwat won a Gold medal and Shaurya claimed a Silver medal in the Mixed Doubles U-15 category in Delhi State Ranking Badminton Tournament 2024, held in June, 2024.They are currently ranked No. 1 in India in the Boys’ Doubles U-15 category. They will be participating in the Boys Doubles category in the Asian badminton under-15 Junior Championship scheduled to be held in China in August 2024.

Ananya Rawat of Class XII has been selected for a year long Swimming Programme by the Inspire Institute of Sport. She will be trained for the Asian and Olympics Games.

Diya Sehrawat of Class IX is among 30 students to have been selected from India for National Basketball Academy – Corvuss American Academy, by the Basketball Federation of India, on a full scholarship basis. She will be trained to represent India in the Olympics.

Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) is an innovative programme sponsored and managed by the Department of Science & Technology to attract young talent towards Science at an early age. 13 students of Class XI attended the INSPIRE Camp at Miranda House, Delhi University, from 8^th to 12^th July, 2024.
Aadik Behl of Class XI received the 1^st prize in an on-the-spot essay competition organised during the camp and our school team got the consolation prize in the poster making competition.

5 students of Class IX (session 2023-24) of our school have qualified for the prestigious Mukhyamantri Vigyaan Pratibha Pariksha (MVPP). These students will be felicitated by the Directorate of Education (DOE) for their achievement.

Kaveesha Arora and Divik Mehta of Class XI were recognised for their diligent and concerted efforts with an award, a certificate and a mention in the pan-India Coffee Table Book of the Atal Innovation Mission at a ceremony held at The Indian School of Business (ISB), Mohali, on 24^th June, 2024. Their creative idea ‘Craft to Home’ made it to the top 10 ideas from 20,000 teams all across India, as part of the Innovation Competition called 'ATL Tinkerpreneur’ that began in 2022.

All India Council for Technical Skill Development (AICTSD) conducted Aryabhatta National Maths Competition, an online Maths Talent Exam, on 21^st May 2024, to promote and create national leaders from the student community of India.

Saesha Kapur of Class XII, won the 1^st position in UNESCO Clubs Worldwide Youth Multimedia Competition 2024, organised by the U.S. Federation of UNESCO Clubs, in association with World Genesis Foundation and Wiz Juniors, in an online ceremony on 1^st June, 2024. 8000 entries were shortlisted from more than 116 countries across the world. She created an app ‘BraveBuddy’ under the SDG 16-Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions which caters to child safety and abuse and was judged by a panel of 24 judges. Paramjot Kaur and Suhani Chadha, Class XI, attended WiSci (Women in Science) South Asia Girls’ STEAM Camp at Kochi on 2^nd June 2024. They got selected on the basis of their short essays and interview with the Culture & Education officers at the US Embassy. Selected campers from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, US and Maldives also attended the event.

Aarav Sikri, Manan Sethi and Vansh Arora of Class XI secured the 1^st position in an event Science Slam 2.0, organised by Max Mueller, Goethe Institute, in collaboration with the German Embassy, on 18^th July, 2024.

92 schools from all over Delhi-NCR participated in this competition which happened in 3 phases for over a period of 2 months. Our school team won this position on the basis of their presentation of their project idea ‘Knot Theory’, a concept that can be used to synthesise materials stronger than Kevlar and is useful in Chemotherapy. The judges were very appreciative of the project.

They were awarded with a 100% scholarship for a 10-day Youth Camp to Sri Lanka in the month of September, where they will get the opportunity to work with the scientists from Germany. They also received Noise Headphones and T-shirts from Max Mueller.

Ms. Victoria Apitzsch, Head of science and Technology, German Embassy and Dr Alexandra Mittler, Director language programmes South Asia, Goethe - Institute were the Judges. They appreciated our students for studying Knot theory in depth and having excellent knowledge of the same.

Arjun Chaudhary and Parkhi Pahwa of Class XII, were part of a special delegation of students selected from Delhi, for an educational trip to Germany from 19^th to 26^th May, 2024, organized by the Goethe Institute. The eligibility was A2 level Goethe International Exam. It was partially paid programme wherein they visited renowned German universities with an access to laboratories, and a chance to interact with German students and teachers.

Inaya Aggarwal of Class XI, got selected for the Young Researchers for Social Impact (YRSI) program, hosted by the Young Leaders for Active Citizenship (YLAC). This programme aims to identify talented students and collaborate with them to hone their critical thinking and problem-solving skills and find solutions to societal problems. The selection process was rigorous and involved a detailed application and assessment of Inaya’s analytical abilities and passion for social change.

The Directorate of Education organized the Vishwaroop Olympiad for the students of Classes VII to IX on the topic ‘The Constitution of India’ from July to December 2023. The following students performed well and received cash prizes up to Rs.5001/- each:

The research titled ‘The Unseen Consequence: How Instagram Affects Teenagers' Perception of Self’ by Charu of Class XII got published in the International Journal of Research Publication and Reviews (June 2024, Vol. 5, Issue 6, Pages 5904-5919). Her research explains how higher frequency of Instagram usage leads to poor body image, low self-esteem and increased anxiety among teenagers.

Pranav Chikkara of Class IX secured a Bronze Medal in both 400m Freestyle and 200m Individual Medley events at the Invitational National Age Group Aquatic Championship in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 24^th to 28^th April, 2024.

Vatsal Singla of Class IX won a Gold Medal and received a cash prize of 1,11,000/- in the 6^th Holi Cup International Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament 2024, organised by Rajasthan Chess Association at Udaipur from 31^stMarch to 4^th April, 2024.

Aarna Aggarwal of Class V was awarded the ‘Innovator of the Month’ by Avishkaar, a known platform for young innovators to learn next gen tech skills like Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Electronics, App Development and Coding. She designed an Industrial Robot functioning as a Pully Crane, Fork Lifter and a Grabber.
Madhav Arora of Class IV, secured 2^nd position in the Astro Art Competition 2024, held in April 2024, as part of Global Astronomy Month Celebration 2024, by SPACE India.

Ruhaan Jain of Class VI was one of the featured authors in a young writers’ anthology, ‘Spinners of Stories’, published by Scholastic Publishing House. His story is titled ‘The Sacred Crystal’.

Rudra Oberoi (CWSN) of Class III has been awarded a Certificate of Achievement in General Knowledge, earning the prestigious title of Young Star 2024 at an online International event, Talent Hunt, organized by Raaba Media, Chennai, on 19^th May, 2024.

Nandini Jain of Class XI and Kiara Kohli of Class X participated in a four-day Youth Cultural Exchange (Abenteuer Esskultur) from 11^th to 14^th June, 2024, in Kalimpong, West Bengal, organised by Goethe Institute for German learners. During this camp, students created fusion recipes celebrating the cultures of Europe and India. They also interacted with German learners from different parts of the world. The eligibility was A1 level Goethe International Exam.

A group of 5 students from our school attended a special Summer Internship Programme organised by ITIHAAS in partnership with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) from 1^st to 7^th June, 2024. The programme aimed at training students to become heritage ambassadors for the Red Fort and enhancing their interpersonal skills. The students learnt about the history of the fort and the importance of the art of storytelling. Further, the students acted as guides to the visitors at the fort under the mentorship of professionals from ITIHAAS and the ASI.

Ishaan Handa and Rishik Goyal of Class IX, were selected among 450 students to attend a 12-day online Artificial Intelligence Bootcamp organized by CBSE in collaboration with intel.digital readiness in June 2024, exclusively for Classes IX and X. They gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience with Python Libraries, Neural Networks and AI Model Testing and Deployment.

Pratham Bansal of Class XI and Mahesh Khanna and Jayant Sindhwani of Class XII attended the Gurugram Police Cyber Security Summer Internship Program as Cyber Ambassadors, from 3^rd June to 2^nd July, 2024. Dr. Rakshit Tandon, cyber security expert, and Shri. Priyanshu Dewan, ACP, Cyber Crime, conducted the program.
Our students were among the 1000 students who got selected out of 15000 students from all over India for this internship program which featured a series of informative sessions on cyber security such as cyber hygiene, attacks, crimes, and banking frauds.

Suhani Chadha of Class XI attended The Times NIE Summer Training Program 2024-25 at the Times of India Office, Noida, from 27^th to 31^st May, 2024 and got an opportunity to work with the national editorial team of The TOI-Student Edition.

Our Tabla team secured a commendable third-place out of 1600 participating schools across India in the 14th All India Interschool Competition hosted by Routes 2 Roots on 30^th May 2024. The names of the winners are:

Our school was the State Winner for the National Capital Region of Delhi in Fortis Psych-ED 2023 - the Psychology Quiz for schools. The participants of the competition were Udipti Chhikara, Nishita Rana and Jahnavi Bharti of Class XII. 880 schools from 190 cities participated in the quiz.
The U-19 Girls team of our school secured the Second position in the State CBSE Basketball Championship held at St. Thomas’ School, Delhi. The team qualified for the Nationals for the second consecutive year, held from 1^st to 5^th ecember, 2023, at Varanasi.
Bhhagya Gahlaut of Class XII won a Gold medal in 50m Breaststroke in the 67^th School National Games, Delhi, held at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Sports Stadium, from 3^rd to 9^th January, 2024. He was the only one from Delhi to have won in the competition. He also set a new meet record of 31:67s.
Saesha Kapur of Class XI, won an online video/reel competition addressing the critical issue of air pollution and its impact on health, organized by the National Centre for Disease Control under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on National Pollution Control Day 2023. She secured the first position in the 12-18 years age group category, triumphing over participants from across the country in the competition.

Kaveesha Arora and Pratham Jain of Class X received the Special Recognition for their remarkable achievement as finalists at the Bayer ENpower Innovation Summit 2023-24, held at Ved Vyasa DAV Public School, Vikaspuri, on 23^rdDecember 2023. The event was organised to felicitate the best ideas addressing social challenges. They were appreciated for designing a multi-linguistic app allowing the customers to connect with the craftsmen directly, thereby reducing the need for middlemen. The School also received a certificate for ‘Outstanding Participation’ in the Summit.
Suhani Chadha, Tanishka Girhotra – Class X and Kashika Gupta – Class VII got selected for the State Level Camp after clearing the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan(2023-2024) Exam, held in the month of October, 2023. VVM is the largest Science Talent Search Examination, an initiative of Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), in collaboration with the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). The camp provided students with an opportunity to showcase their talents through a diverse range of science activities.
Reyaansh Aggarwal of Class IX got a splendid anthology of 16 stories ‘Blissful Quills’ published, as a part of the Scholastic Writer’s Program, initiated by Scholastic India, which aims to nurture the writing talents of the students. He was shortlisted after an online ‘Writing Proficiency Test’ and attended a 10-day mentorship programme under the able guidance of Literary Experts.
The Scholastic team recognized the school’s contribution in encouraging creative thinking and writing skills among students. 6 students from Classes VI to XII were felicitated with an ‘Author Honour Board’ on 6^th November, 2023 as each one of them co-authored an anthology, published by Scholastic.

Maira Qureshi of Class IV, bagged the First Position in the entire North Zone and also secured a prominent place on the Leaderboard in the 9-year-old age group at the Zonal level in the ‘Cuisine of the World’, an online quiz conducted by Kidex on 2^nd October, 2023.

Krishank Singh of Class IV, won the title of Inter-School Topper in the SPELLBEE 2023. Delisha Kad of Class V and Raghav Dua of Class III emerged as the School Toppers and qualified for the National Level Exam to be held on 28^th January, 2024.
Shreeja Mehta of Class IV got the First prize in ‘Accuracy’ in the National Abacus Championship (Junior) organised by Abacus Champs Academy on 10^th December, 2023.
Aanya Sarkar of Class I became the youngest person to summit Deoban Peak-9400 ft. on September 30, 2023. This exceptional accomplishment earned her a place in the Delhi Book of Records.
Ridit Gupta of Class V received the Jury Award in Thoughts on Canvas - Art Festival, based on the theme ‘Bharat - Kashmir se Kanyakumari tak’ held between 28^th to 31^st December, 2023 at India International Centre, New Delhi. 220 students from age group 5 to 14 years participated in the same.
30 students of Classes VI-VIII attended a three-day workshop conducted by Blue Planet Environmental Solutions, one of Asia’s fastest-growing waste management companies, from 10-12^th January 2024.

The students were sensitized towards the theme of climate

change through hands on activities, use of AR VR, discussions and

group activities followed by an assessment. Medals and

certificates were awarded to the students.

Ernst & Young STEM (EY STEM) Project Presentation was held in ‘Group and Individual’ categories for the girl students in the school on 19^th January 2024. It is an initiative by EY STEM in collaboration with the EXSTEMPLAR Linkers Foundation. HT PACE, in collaboration with 94.3 Radio One International, initiated an internship program for students – ‘Launchpad’. The students were given the opportunity to host a one-hour radio show on current issues under the mentorship of popular radio host Sarthak Kaushik.

Shresth Goyal of Class XII received an appreciation certificate from IIT Delhi for presenting his paper on the topic ‘Impact of UI/UX on the usage of mobile apps for remote psychological health monitoring’, in August, 2023.His idea for designing a model for the next generation electric vehicles has been shortlisted for getting published in ‘Seven Sense Research Group’ – International Journal of Applied Physics.
Samarth Kambiri, a student of Class VIII, brought laurels to the school by winning ‘Tourism in India Quiz Competition’ organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. He received a certificate and gift hamper from Shri Shripad Naik, Hon. Minister of State for Tourism and Ports, Shipping and Waterways of India in an event organised on 27^th July, 2023.
The ‘Craft2Home’ project by Kaveesha Arora and Divik Mehta of Class X secured a spot among the Top 10 in ‘The Big Pitch 2.0’ round in the Atal Catalysts @ ISB competition. KraftKart, our multi-linguistic app, aims to seamlessly connect craftsmen and the customers, without any middlemen. This idea aligns with the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Make in India Program’ and can potentially provide a secure livelihood to 68.86 lakh artisans across India. ‘Dlabs’ has sponsored Rs. 25,000/- for our team to develop the app and upload it on Playstore.

ATAL INNOVATION MISSION

Our school team, comprising young innovators of Class X - Aarth Singhal, Jayesh Dabas, and Sukhdev Thukral, got selected among the top 75 innovators in the country in the ATL Marathon 2021-22. The students will receive prizes and feature in the Coffee Table Book being compiled by the Atal Innovation Mission.
Aarth Singal, of Class X, was one of the 100 students PAN India who were selected through a rigorous selection process, to attend the Lodha Genius Programme (LGP) at Ashoka University, Sonipat, Haryana from 17^th May to 18^th June 2023. The residential program focused on advanced Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences encompassing practical activities such as telescope designing and sundial making, fostering hands-on learning experiences. He is currently assisting Professor Manu Prakash from Stanford University, USA, for promoting his project, Foldscope - an affordable microscope, in educational institutions across North India. He has also been appointed by Professor Debayan Gupta from MIT, USA, to assist a hardware and software research project under his mentorship. The school is extremely proud of Arth’s exemplary achievements.

Out of the numerous participants from all over Delhi, 6 students secured positions among the top 50. These students will be felicitated by the Directorate of Education (DOE) for their achievements.
Navya Gupta, a student of Class X, got selected for ISRO’s YUVIKA Young Scientist Programme, conducted at the seven ISRO centres PAN India from 15^th to 26^th May 2023. She was a part of the 54 shortlisted students from Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. It was a two-week residential programme at the Gujarat Centre wherein students were given exposure to space science, technology, and applications through classroom lectures and hands-on activities.

Simar Rekhi of Class XII and Avni Sood of Class XI, were selected for the HT Pace Internship Program 2023. The Program offers school students a chance to gain valuable hands-on experience and develop skills for their future careers. They attended an orientation session of the Internship Program 2023 - Launchpad at FEVER Office, Hindustan Times House which provided a comprehensive overview of the internship program.

The Youth Change Champion Program is an internship program for school-goers that was held from 4^th June to 4^thJuly, 2023. Shivansh Dayal of Class XII served as a Youth Change Champion intern. The Veer Gatha Project was launched by CBSE to inspire children and spread awareness among them about the gallant deeds and sacrifices of our soldiers.Among the 8 lakh participants from more than 5000 schools all over India, Saesha Kapur, Class X, was declared as one of the Super 25 participants by the CBSE and the Ministry of Defence. She received the Veer Gatha Super 25 Award from Shri Rajnath Singh, our Defence Minister, and Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, our Education Minister, in a felicitation ceremony, held on 12^th August, 2022, at DRDO.
Satyam Ohlan, Class XII, is one of the State Awardees of the Inspire Manak Awards 2020-21 and was invited to be part of a grand National Level Exhibition and Projects Competition (NLEPC) organised on 14^th and 15^th September, 2022, by the Department of Science and Technology at Pragati Maidan. He presented his Project ‘Helen’, a Smart Digital Device, which enables blind people to be better connected in the digital age. Only five students were selected from all across Delhi for this event.

Rishabh Jindal of Class XII, secured the First rank in International Commerce Olympiad, organised by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). He received a Cash Prize of Rs. 20,000, a Gold Medal and a Certificate for Outstanding Performance.
Niyati Sharma of Class XII, secured the First Position in the State Level - Ganga Quest 2022.
Aanya Singhal of Class VII, was among the top five finalists of International concours d'orthographe 2021-22- International French Spell Bee and received a medal and an appreciation certificate for the same. More than 150 schools from 7 countries participated in the prestigious competition.
Our school team, comprising of 4 students, was one of the top 13 teams out of 86 teams pan India, to have made it to the Grand Finale of NLF Reading Challenge, organised by Neev Literature Festival. It was a four-month program, from March to June 2022. The participants had to read 40 Books and participate in different activities. In addition to fun book-based activities, regular author interactions, and virtual book chats, the challenge concluded with the Grand Finale Quiz.

Our school has been selected for Student Entrepreneurship Program (SEP 3.0) by Atal Innovation Mission (AIM). This programme is being organized by AIM, NITI Aayog in collaboration with La Fondation Dassault Systemes Europe. As a part of this project, all selected teams will present their marketing campaign to the experts from industry and academia.

Our school team, ‘Cyber Tigers’ was selected among top 100 teams, in the ATAL TINKERING MARATHON and got nominated for a 15-day Industry Internship Program with IBM, held from 18^th to 31^st October 2021. Suhan Grover and Parth Khurana of Class VIII, attended this program along with Ms. Alka Verma.

The program included a Power Talk with Industry Experts and a Design Thinking Challenge was executed by students in teams.

Aadit Saluja of Class XII, has been selected to pursue his graduation in Computer Science in the prestigious Harvard University, on the basis of his school achievements

and interview.

Our two teams, BYTEX and SOUND were in the top 20 teams of last year's ATL marathon and have been featured in a Coffee Table book launched by Atal Innovation Mission.

Our school is among the 40 schools in Delhi which have been selected for Bayer India and Empower ATL program. Under this program, all students from Classes VI-IX and XI will be provided access to a digital platform, which they can log on to learn about Robotics, 3D printing, AI, Design Thinking and Entrepreneurship. Mentor teachers have been assigned to each class to ensure effective student participation and monitor their progress.

Out of thousands of entries, only 21 were chosen as the winning entries across India.

Asmi Sharma of Class VII (Rank 1) , Krish Rohilla of Class X (Rank 3) and Khushi Munjal of Class IX, have been shortlisted from all over Delhi to participate in the State Level Camp of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2021, India’s largest Science Talent Search Examination, organized by Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), Ministry of Education, Government of India. The State Level Camp will be held on 13th February 2022.

Peehu Gupta of Class VIII and Devyaani Lakhotia of Class XI, were selected for the Youth Forum Switzerland Global Changemakers Programme. As part of the project, they interviewed Mr. Emre Karaselvi, an esteemed Aerospace Engineer, at the Istanbul Technical University on December 8, 2021. The agenda of the interview was UN SDG 9 - Infrastructure and Industrialisation.
As part of the CBSE'S VEER GATHA PROJECT conducted at an All-India level for all CBSE affiliated schools by the Ministry of Education, Department of School Education and Literacy, over 8 lakh students participated in the event, out of which 25 best entries were shortlisted all over India.
Saesha Kapur of Class IX was amongst the top six winners in the category of grades IX-X. She will be awarded a certificate, cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- by the Union Ministry of Defence and was invited to witness the Republic Day Parade of January 26, 2022.
In the National Level Spell Bee Competition, 6 students of our school secured their place in the Topper’s Category with their outstanding performance. Namya Aggarwal of Class VI, Mischika Jain, Samira Sahu, Mannat Gupta, Paramjot Kaur of Class VIII and Krish Rohilla of Class IX, achieved this remarkable feat, while 13 others have been put in the Distinction Category and the Achievement Category. These students have now qualified for the International Level Exam (Level 4) to be held on 6^th March 2022.
Dia Khanna, a student of Class VI, has made the school proud as her story has been published in a book titled ‘Tales from Here and There’ by Scholastic. It will soon be available on Amazon.
The collection of short stories ‘With Young Minds’ by Khwaish Goel, Class X, was published. The Kindle edition of her book is available on Amazon.in. It consists of a series of simple anecdotes on themes like compassion, kindness, and environment.

Our school was acclaimed as one of the Top 100 institutes in the AWS National Young Builders Challenge 2021.

Aayan Sardana of Class VIII received Amazon Web Services (AWS) branded goodies and an Amazon voucher worth ₹5000 for an App (WE HELP) created by him. The app focusses on instant communication, doesn't require internet or data services, and is totally free of cost. It is user friendly and can be used even by a person who doesn't have any knowledge of technology. The app is made on code.org and when any person sends a request for help, it travels through code.org to all the persons signed in the app around the world.

She clinched 3 gold medals - 50m, 100m and 200m Bi-fin and won the Individual Championship as well.

In the 18^th Senior National Soft Tennis Championship Men’s and Women’s held at Dewas , Madhya Pradesh from 26^th to 30^th September, 2021, Khushi Sachdeva of class XII won a Gold Medal.

Alisha Khattar, Class XII, got listed as Entrepreneur/Author in the FOXCLUES India Prime Awards Top 100 Women Icons 2021.
Gitesh Budhiraja, Class XII:2020-21, got shortlisted among the top 100 winners in a National Essay Writing Competition, organised by LFT (Leaders for Tomorrow) along with Press Club of India and Voice of Kids. He won a full scholarship for a journalism and writing program for student reports.

Gaurang Gupta, Aayush Kumar, Shambhavi Debnath and Priyanshi Gupta cleared the NTSE Stage-1 Examination organised by NCERT. The result was declared on 13th August 2021.

Shreya Tewari of Class IX, a budding writer of the school, has become a published author under Scholastic Quill Club. Her short story (Genie in the Jacket) is a part of the anthology of stories, “Quiet Echoes” published by Scholastic.
The art entry of Smaira Sahu, a student of class VIII, was selected by EKANSH TRUST (an organisation working towards the inclusion and empowerment of persons with disabilities) as one of the finalist entries and is displayed on their Facebook page.
Six students (2 each from classes VIII, IX and X) were selected for a 15-day AI Readiness Bootcamp organised by AI for Youth, an initiative by CBSE-Intel from 11^th to 27^th August 2021. The students learnt complex concepts of AI in this bootcamp.

Anshul Mahajan of Class XII received the University of Toronto Special Award at the prestigious Initiative for Research and Innovation in STEM (IRIS) National Fair 2020-21 on 2nd April 2021 for his research project on Generative Adversarial Networks and MRI scans. He was offered a full scholarship to participate in the Global Engineering Challenge, organised by the University of Toronto, Faculty of Applied Sciences and Engineering.

Jyotsna Singh of Class XII broke her own existing record of Yoga Tree Pose on a Stool for the Longest Duration and set a new record in Asia Book of Records with a time duration of 37 minutes, as confirmed on 22^nd March, 2021. This is the longest time recorded by an Asian.

Samaira Goel of Class VII received a cash prize of Rs. 7700 for being among the top 15 scorers at the National level in the Mind Wars Olympiad 2020, held in December.

Saksham National Competition 2021 is an initiative of Petroleum Conservation Research Association, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, to spread awareness and encourage innovation in the area of energy conservation.

The essay entry by Samriddh Singh Mehta of Class IX for PCRA competition was adjudged as one of the best State entries on 30^th June, 2021.

It was shortlisted out of thousands of innovations. She demonstrated her project to the jury members (eminent professors of the Bhabha Atomic Center) during a virtual interview and was adjudged the National Winner. She has won a medal and a cash prize of Rs. 3000 for her exemplary performance. In the middle category of the same event, Arnav Verma of Class VII, won the 'Most Creative Project Award' and Aryan Verma of Class VII, won the 'Best Digital Presentation Award.'
Eva Chaudhary of Class XII secured the Fourth Position among TOP 10 artists of India, in a National Level Painting Contest organised by SUPER 7, India, on the website www.esuper7.in. More than 1500 artists Pan India participated in the same.

10 students from Classes VII-IX collaborated with The Lakshmi Mittal South Asia Institute, Harvard University for Soft Robotics Toolkit Programme. Four videos depicting their work were shown at the Closing Ceremony of the programme held on 23rd June 2021 and were highly appreciated.
Anvita Gupta of Class VIII attended a virtual camp based on Interdisciplinary Approach to Learning German through playful pursuit of Science, organised by Goethe Institute from 4^th to 6^th June, 2021. The camp offered workshops on Fun Games, Hands on Science and Tinkering Fun with Nature.

Completed seven activities in ten minutes. She will be featured in India Book of Records

Nitra Gupta of Pre-Primary created a record and will be featured in India Book of Records for writing all letters of the Hindi alphabet and matras, 7 fruits, 7 vegetables, 10 antonyms, 7 animals, 7 colours in Hindi, days of the week, 9 rhyming words, 9 opposites, 10 domestic animals, 7 wild animals in English, 6 ascending and descending numbers, 6 addition and 6 subtraction sums at the age of 4 years and 3 months. Completed twenty activities in five minutes.

Keerat Kaur Bhatia of Pre-Primary will be featured in India Book of Records and Delhi Book of Records for reciting 5 different Sikh prayers, ability to read phonics books with all vowels, writing opposite words, rhyming words, names of colours, number names, days of the week and achieved more than 90 certificates in various categories.

Srishti Saini of class XI is amongst the 110 girls from all over India and three girls from Delhi to be selected for the Target Olympic Podium Service (TOPS) Scheme in the discipline of Athletics. She will be prepared for 8 years in NIS for 2024 and 2028 Olympics by the best coaches from India and abroad. She will be trained in Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports, Patiala, the Academic Wing of the Sports Authority of India and Asia's largest Sports Institute. She will also get a stipend of Rs. 25000 per month.

It is a matter of great pride that 3 teams from classes X-XII of our school - BYTEX- SIGN LANGUAGE TRANSLATOR, SOUNDWARE and BRAINSTORMERS: KINECT BAND, were declared as winners in the nationwide competition ‘ATL Marathon 2019’ out of 1200 teams which participated in this event.

Ishan Goyal and Harsh Gupta of class X, whose projects were shortlisted in the annual ATL Marathon 2019, got an opportunity to attend a training programme by Atal Incubation Centre(AIC-Raise). They were trained to develop entrepreneurship skills like project survey, need gap analysis, prototype development, Lean Model Canvas, Pitch and marketing of the product. After the month-long rigorous internship, they developed 2 projects and designed a road map for these to benefit the society.
Both the projects have been selected for the final round of the Student Innovator Programme 3.0 (SIP) organized by Atal Innovation Mission (Niti Aayog). In the final round they will compete with the top National teams selected after two rounds of filtration.

Nabh Garg(XII), Satyam Ohlan(X) and Aryan Mediratta(XII) of our school were one among our three teams which were declared the winners of ATL MARATHON CHALLENGE. They had the privilege of being offered a month long online internship with Adobe systems from 7^th to 30^th September, 2020. During this duration , they attended sessions which introduced them to various ADOBE products and technologies. On the last day of the internship, the students presented their winning idea, SIGN X which is a sign language translator app, to a panel of Adobe experts. The presentation was widely appreciated by the Adobe experts panel. They will be selected for future endeavours with Adobe. Indeed a proud moment for the school and ATL.

Ifrah Khan(XI) is one of the prize winners at the 16^th World Children's Haiku Competition 2019-20, organised by Japan Airlines, the results of which were declared in September, 2020. The theme for the event was ‘Sports’.

‘Create Change Challenge 2020’ was organised by the University of Queensland, Australia for which four students of Class XI and XII of school - Falak Kalra, Adheyan Gupta, Anshika Chadha and Jaanhavi Singhal were selected. The competition involved thinking about the solutions to the challenges of tomorrow- building a university of the future and improving public health in their local community. The final presentation round of the competition was adjudged by the professors at University Of Queensland, Australia on 20th and 24th October, 2020. The school finished in the Top Five of the twenty competing schools globally.

Art knows no borders: ‘Collaboration in Isolation’ was a collaborative project organised by Goethe-Institute. Nairika Gupta, class X, was selected to work on an International Virtual Art Project, to create a Virtual 3D Art Gallery on the following topic- ‘Frontline Health Workers’ based on her performance in FIT in the DEUTSCH exam.

From 10^th August 2020 to 6^th September, 2020, she worked in small cross cultural groups with students from schools in Colombo, Dhaka, Karachi and Kolkata.

Devyani Lakhotia, class X, bagged the first position and Ayushi Aggarwal, class X, bagged the second position in the Mind Map making competition, Masti se Mastishk Tak, organised by Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan, a joint venture of Vijnana Bharati, Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science and Technology and NCERT. Niyati Sharma, class X, received a certificate of appreciation.

Gauransh Jaimini of class IV will be featured in India Book of Records. He was appreciated for recalling the capitals of 195 countries at the young age of 9 years .

CBSE conducted the 30-30 STEM Program, in collaboration with IIT, Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat and IISER, Pune. Dikshansh Sharma of class VII participated in this programme. His active participation and alacrity were especially appreciated by the resource team and his photograph has been uploaded on the CBSE website to acknowledge the same.

Mitul Goyal (IX) completed a 15 days Plezmo App Development Course conducted by Atal Innovation Mission and subsequently developed a web and mobile app (clicker game).

Ishaan, Neev and Akshat of class VIII were awarded the ‘Best Student’ prize for their excellent performance in the online education camp ‘Online Education during COVID-19 Pandemic’, organized by Embibe.

Asmi Sharma of Class VI ranked among the top 500 students across India in the ISRO CYBER SPACE MODEL MAKING COMPETITION 2020. Her model shows GSLV MK III, a three stage heavy lift launch vehicle chosen to launch Chandrayaan II spacecraft, developed by ISRO in India.

Arjav Jain (class IX) has been actively engaged in Robotics events and projects. His efforts were recognized and published in THE GLOBAL PITSCO NETWORK, Sep 2020 edition by PITSCO EDUCATION (A USA based renowned Robotics Company). He worked on the following projects:

Vanshika Dua, class X, featured in the 3^rd July, 2020 edition of Eenaadu (Telugu newspaper) as a child model. She will soon be seen showcasing her acting skills in a short film, Pramaan, with the veteran actor Shakti Kapoor.

'Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research' (INSPIRE) scheme is one of the flagship programs of Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. The objective of the scheme is to target one million original ideas/innovations rooted in science and societal applications to foster a culture of creativity and innovative thinking among school children studying in classes VI-X. 5 students of our school have been nominated for the INSPIRE MANAK AWARD SCHEME.

CBSE, in collaboration with Intel, organized an ‘AI For Youth’ virtual symposium from October 13 - 17, 2020. The symposium intended to enable the students to learn about AI readiness skills and other emerging technologies from global leaders, gain an immersive experience, and witness AI social impact projects created by their peers.
Students across classes VIII – XII and all staff members across Middle , Secondary and Senior Secondary department participated in this Guinness World Record attempt of CBSE and received participation certificates.

Ritvik Baweja of class XII, cleared the written exam and interview of KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana). He is now a KVPY fellow.

Aryan Mediratta of class XII, Anshul Mahajan of class XI and Aadit Saluja of class XI, along with 2 other alumni, worked on a web application prototype organized by Garage48, an international organization. They were amongst the 5 teams that represented India in The Global Hack finals. They secured the Third position internationally and were awarded a prize of 5000 euros.

Jahnavi Dureja of class XII got selected and performed in the International Dance Festival- The Monsoon Festival organized by Global Artists Association. People from 7 different countries participate in it every year. This festival was telecast on YouTube and Facebook live in 7 different countries.

Arsh Bhatt of class XII (2019-20) has written a science fiction novel ‘The Intervention’ which has been published and released. It is available on Amazon.

Bhavik Saluja of class X participated in the Online Competition ‘Sadbhavana in the Times of Corona’ organized by Rajiv Gandhi Foundation from 14^th to 21^st April 2020. He bagged the First position in the event for his poem.
He also submitted a short Film to TGIFF (The Great Indian Film Festival) for their MOBILE FILM FESTIVAL event. His short film was selected and screened on the YouTube channel of TGIFF from 19^th June to 21^st June 2020.

In the ‘One Minute’ Film Competition organised by CMS Vatavaran on the theme ‘Rethinking Conservation of Environment During and After COVID’, Bhavik Saluja, was declared the winner and his movie was uploaded on the CMS Vatavaran’s website.

Saesha Kapoor of class VIII was adjudged the winner in the Game Development Event held during ATL Community Day Challenge 2020. Her game was selected out of approximately 1100 entries from all over the country.

Delhi State Science Teachers’ Forum organised the Science Open Merit Test (SOMT- 2019). Falak Kalra of class X secured the 20^th rank in the Delhi region.

Gaurang Gupta of class IX bagged the 5^th Rank and Shambhavi Debnath of class IX secured the 26^th position Delhi Region in the JSTSE Exam held in December, 2019.

119 students of our school received Bhasha Doot Award from Hindustani Bhasha Academy and Indira Gandhi National Cultural Centre, for their outstanding performance in class X CBSE Hindi and Sanskrit exams held in the session 2018-19.

In the CBSE National Rope Skipping Championship - 2019-20 held at Amritsar from 7^th to 10^th November, 2019, Our U-14 Girls won the Overall Championship.

Ayush Jain of class VII bagged the First Position in the National Finals Mattel Scrabble Challenge.

Eva Chaudhary and Ifrah Khan of class X were declared the winners in the ‘Japan on Canvas’, a National Level Painting Competition organized by Experience Japan.

SPACE-India conducted an online exam to select 200 students from Indian schools and colleges to be a part of the International Student Eclipse Expedition Team to Oman and Karnataka.
Soham Gupta of class VII bagged the First Rank at the ALL INDIA Level.
Soham Gupta and Chinmay Shokeen were among the top 20 and won a fully sponsored trip to Oman.
