REBOOT 2.0 – A GALA ALUMNI GET-TOGETHER FOR BBPS, Pitampura
Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura organized its Annual Alumni Meet, Reboot 2.0 on 23rd November,2019, in the school premises. It was a gala event conceptualized by the Alumni Community (2019-2020) and was attended by more than 500 people. It marked the commemoration of the 25th year of the first batch of students graduating from the school in 1994. The efforts of the teaching & support staff serving the institute for 25 & more glorious years was also acknowledged and appreciated.
The evening started with a traditional Diya Lighting Ceremony by Ms. Meenu Goswami, Principal, Mr. S.K. Bhattacharya, Secretary Manager, BBPS, Pitampura, Mrs. Loveleen Kapoor- Vice Principal(Admin.), Ms. Sonia Chhabra- Vice Principal(Academics), Mrs. Kavita Dhar- H.M.(Sr.) and Mrs. Poonam Tyagi,-H.M.(Mont.). The Principal addressed the gathering and felicitated the 1994 batch along with the Vice Principals.
The highlight of the event was a comic presentation by the famous stand-up comedian – Rohit Gehlot. A power packed performance by Astitva – The Band left the audience spell bound. The alumni enjoyed coming back to the roots, connecting with their Alma Mater, remembering old days and making more cherished memories with old batch mates & teachers. They got pictures clicked at various photo booths while their kids enjoyed the evening in the specially designed kids-area.
The Annual Alumni Sports Meet was held on 23.09.17 (Saturday). The event was attended by 80 alumni members who got the chance to relive their childhood memories with their teachers. They enjoyed playing games such as basketball, volleyball, cricket etc. with the students. They interacted with the teachers over lunch. In the end they all shared their thoughts, feelings and memories on the memory wall.
