ANNUAL DAY 2018-19

 

On 15 April 2018, Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura celebrated its Annual Day and Prize Distribution Ceremony. Mr.Sanjay Singh, Special Commissioner of Police, New Delhi graced the occasion as the chief guest and Mr. Maniesh Paul, an eminent actor and anchor was the guest of honour. The lamp lighting by the distinguished guests along with Mr. L.R. Channa, Chairman Child Education Society, Mr. S.K. Bhattacharya, Secretary and Ms. Meenu Goswami, the school principal marked the beginning of the evening.

 

The school orchestra presented an exuberant symphony based on Raag Hamsdhwani and a vivacious Jugalbandi of Kathak and Tabla. The senior student dancers through their ethereal performance manifested the spiritual interpretation of the relation between Surya Dev, Lord Hanuman and Shani Dev. The talented student actors of the school enthralled everyone through the senior ballet. The dance drama showcased the grandeur and splendour of the journey of Indian cinema since its inception. More than five hundred students of the Primary Department showcased the music and dance forms of different eras through their electrifying performance. The theme song, a soulful rendition by budding singers of the school, left the audience spellbound. The evening was also an opportunity to reward and recognise the academic and non-academic talent among the students of the school.

The tireless hard work of the students, staff and the unflinching support of the parents made the show a great success.

ANNUAL DAY 2017-18

 

Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura celebrated the Annual Day on 16 April 2017. Ms. Chhaya Sharma, Deputy Inspector General Human Rights Commission, New Delhi graced the occasion as the chief guest and Mr. Shammi Narang, an eminent media personality, was the guest of honour. The lamp lighting by Mr. L.R. Channa, Chairman Child Education Society, Mr. S.K. Bhattacharya, Secretary General Child Education Society, Ms. Meenu Goswami, the school principal and the guests marked the beginning of the evening.

The school orchestra had an enigmatic appeal as it presented a harmonious blend of Indo-western music accompanied by a song in Awadhi that charmed the senses. The senior student dancers invoked Lord Shiva through their enchanting performance, Rudra. The dance act presented a beautiful scenery of different episodes from Shiva Purana that bewitched the audience. The talented student actors of the school enthralled everyone through the senior ballet. The dance drama was a presentation of a tale of a Russian Czar that highlighted the significance of values such as love, compassion, courage and kindness. Expressions, the ballet by the students of the primary department, took the audience on an ecclesiastical journey in a man’s life aimed at bringing about a balance of energies and living a beautiful life of perfection. The theme song titled Ishwar Allah Ek Hai.., affirmed the sovereignty of the supreme power that surpasses the differences of caste, religion and colour. The evening was also an opportunity to reward and recognise the academic and non-academic talent among the students of the school. Ms. Meenu Goswami, the school principal rewarded the meritorious students and inspired others with her speech.

The evening proved to be a grand success due to the hard work of the staff, the students and the unflinching support of the parents.
